Rachel Aupperle, M.S. ’08, has been working with children in grades K–8 for the past seven years. She received her master’s degree in music education from Illinois State University and her bachelor’s degree in vocal music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has earned all three levels of Orff-Schulwerk certification. Aupperle has presented at the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) District 3 Festival and to Illinois State Orff level courses. She has taught movement at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Illinois State University.
Dr. Robert Amchin is a distinguished teaching professor of music education and music education concentration coordinator at the University of Louisville. He enjoys leading undergraduate and graduate classes in teacher education. His training includes studies at the Orff Institute (Salzburg), New England Conservatory of Music, Memphis State University, Hofstra University, Hamline University, and the University of Michigan. He still works with children in the Kentucky area as an artist-in-residence music teacher.
